Interdisciplinary (Cost Engineer)

There may or may not be actual vacancies filled from this flyer.

Develops detailed cost estimates from construction contractor’s viewpoint requiring a careful analysis and comprehensive evaluation of numerous factors with differing and complicating circumstances.

Prepare initial estimates for use in developing conceptual proposals, planning projects, preliminary designs, additive alternatives, negotiations, etc.

Reviews plans and specifications prepared in-house or by Architect-Engineer (A-E) firms for practicability of design or change in design and prepares network diagrams portraying the sequence of construction when required.

Provides cost expertise on complex contractor claims and assists in negotiations.

Review Architect-Engineer (A-E) cost estimates for adequacy.
