There may or may not be actual vacancies filled from this flyer.
Plans, coordinates, directs, and supervises all aspects of cost estimating, cost engineering and cost control for construction of Civil Works, Military and Construction (MILCON); and the Hazardous and Toxic, Radioactive Waste (HTRW) program.
Responsible for the preparation of the Civil and Military concept, budgetary, design in progress, bid estimates, engineering contract modifications, and field modification cost estimates that exceed the Administrative Contractors authority.
Evaluates and participates in construction cost modification negotiations.
Evaluates and makes recommendations when contractors protest the reasonableness of the Government estimate or allege errors in their bids requesting permission to modify their bid price or to withdraw their bid.
Serves as advisor and consultant to District personnel on costs for military construction from concept design stage through construction.
