INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER - F-35 LST Corrosion Engineering Lead

You will serve as an INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER in the Fleet Support Team (FST) department of FLTREADCEN EAST. You will be the F-35 LST Corrosion Engineering Lead in Ft. Worth.

You will investigate, research and determine applicability of major modification in order to extend service life, improve survivability, reliability and aircraft safety.

You will budget branch resources regarding training, workload execution, workload prioritization, and capability.

You will monitor performance or engineering technical analyses, engineering investigations, economic analyses, and support services provided directly to the operational community.

You will be responsible for responding/coordinating technical feedback to supportability/maintainability questions from the operating and maintenance personnel.

You will analyze/recommend adjustments to specified service life intervals for aircraft weapons and equipment.

You will prepare correspondence, technical reports and instructions for submittal to NAVAIR.

You will lead a joint team of USAF and USN structural engineers providing fleet support on corrosion issues and will have supervisory responsibilities for the USN engineers.
