INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER

Summary

Engineer providing technical direction for ship/submarine combat systems, troubleshooting issues, and preparing specifications for modernization and maintenance in Guam.

You will serve as a INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER in the Combat Systems Division of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. Guam is designated as a medically underserved area. Military medical facilities offer space-available primary and limited specialty medical care; however, services are not guaranteed.

You will provide technical direction for engineering requirements on surface ship/submarine combat systems for all non-nuclear support work in support of modernization, maintenance, repair, or overhaul.

You will conduct engineering studies, investigations, research, and analysis for the solution of unusual or unprecedented engineering problems.

You will act as a lead/oversight troubleshooter in the identification and resolution of problems encountered during installation, grooming, or testing phases of waterfront production efforts.

You will prepare Technical Work Documents with tasks describing necessary technical specifications applicable to the system and work being performed.

You will work with various shop and code program analysts to identify, develop, and implement process improvement initiatives.
