About the Position: This job announcement will fill multiple vacancies for an Interdisciplinary (Project Manager) at the full performance levels (FPLs) of GS-14. These positions are with the US Army Corps of Engineers, Huntington District- Planning, Programs, and Project Management Division.

Serves as the senior authority for strategically planning and initiating major, high-visibility infrastructure projects nationwide, including developing Project Management Plans and negotiating partnership agreements.

Directs and manages the full lifecycle execution of complex, multi-billion dollar engineering projects, overseeing design, construction, budgeting, and risk management.

Directs all project closure activities, including financial closeouts, performance evaluations, documenting lessons learned, and transferring completed infrastructure to sponsors.

Coordinates multiple related infrastructure projects by implementing portfolio strategies, monitoring performance, and advising senior leadership on priorities and funding.

Acts as a technical authority using advanced professional concepts to solve highly complex, unprecedented problems and interpret federal regulations for nationwide projects.

Engages with diverse internal and external stakeholders, including elected officials and contractors, to negotiate project decisions, secure resources, and build consensus.

Identifies critical technical and environmental risks to develop and implement proactive mitigation strategies that resolve complex execution conflicts.

Leads and integrates complex, multidisciplinary Project Delivery Teams composed of engineers, scientists, legal counsel, and financial experts to ensure project success.
