This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as a General Engineer/Industrial Engineer of the Business Operations Branch Directorate of Public Works (DPW), Fort Bliss.

Manages the prioritization, execution, tracking, scheduling, and customer feedback for contract services.

Provides engineering reviews of facility plans and specifications to ensure constructability across all phases of construction, repair, and maintenance.

Directs and performs routine construction site inspections as required for project stakeholders.

Ensures that construction contracts comply with regulations, policies, and specialized requirements.

Applies multi-disciplinary engineering principles to prepare and review designs, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.

Provides technical and consulting expertise across multiple engineering disciplines.
