About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Interface Designer (10+ years) with deep expertise in SAP BTP Integration Suite (SAP BTPIS/CPI), BizTalk, Azure & UC4. This role is ideal for a senior integration professional who can translate complex interface requirements into robust, scalable, and well‑documented technical designs.

You will work closely with architects, functional teams, and technical delivery groups to ensure every interface is designed, documented, and governed with precision.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse incoming interface requirements and map them to the correct architectural patterns.
• Define interface strategy and break it down into detailed technical specifications.
• Collaborate with IF owners to gather mappings and ensure specification completeness.
• Coordinate documentation contributions across technical delivery teams.
• Ensure pristine documentation for:
  • Interface Requirement Document (IRD FS)
  • Interface Design Document (IDD / TS)
  • Technical Interface Specification (TIS TS)
  • Mapping Specification Document (FS)
  • Interface Monitoring Checklist & Error Handling Plan
  • Interface Catalogue Maintenance (Excel, DevOps, SolMan)
• Provide general guidance on SAP clean core, CDS, SAP S/4HANA capabilities, and middleware technologies.
• Present design decisions confidently to stakeholders and clarify technical questions with subject‑matter experts.
• Support technical project management activities.

Must‑Have Skills

• Strong experience in SAP BTP Integration Suite / CPI
• Expertise in BizTalk, Azure Integration, UC4
• Solid understanding of middleware architecture and SAP ecosystem
• Ability to produce high‑quality interface documentation
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills
• Medior/Senior confidence level in technical discussions
• High attention to detail, patience, adaptability, and structured working style

Good‑to‑Have Skills

• Experience supporting BMC Helix ITSM Suite
• Ability to troubleshoot, upgrade, and maintain Helix ITSM applications
• Experience integrating ITSM tools with third‑party systems
• Effort estimation for projects and change requests
• Collaboration with BMC support for product‑related issues
• Reporting risks, issues, and project status to PMs
