Interior Design Drafter
Loft.9 Design Studio is looking for a detail-oriented In-House Interior Drafter to support our interior design and project teams.
The role focuses on translating design concepts, site information and designer requirements into accurate technical and construction drawings for residential interior projects.
You will work closely with our interior designers, project team, carpenters and contractors to ensure drawings are practical, accurate and suitable for site execution.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare detailed interior construction and technical drawings
• Produce floor plans, elevations, sections and detailed drawings
• Prepare detailed carpentry and built-in furniture drawings
• Amend drawings according to designer, client and site requirements
• Coordinate drawing details with interior designers and project teams
• Review site measurements and ensure drawing accuracy
• Assist in resolving technical and construction detailing issues
• Maintain proper organisation and documentation of drawing files
• Ensure drawings are completed according to project schedules
• Coordinate revisions and drawing updates throughout the project
Requirements
• Relevant experience in interior design, architectural or renovation drafting
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Good understanding of interior construction and carpentry detailing
• Able to interpret design concepts and translate them into technical drawings
• Strong attention to dimensions, details and accuracy
• Good time management and ability to handle multiple projects
• Responsible, organised and able to work closely with a team
• Knowledge of SketchUp or other relevant design software will be an advantage
• Singapore residential renovation experience will be an advantage
