Interior Designer
Job Responsibilities
- Good visualization, graphic and presentation skills.
- Develop and create attractive designs and layouts for various projects.
- Technical and product research & review with the design team.
- Meeting with the client, consultants, and contractors and making sure that the design intent is met.
- Discuss and propose design adhering to clients’ requirements and needs.
- Preparation of detailed drawings, design development, construction documents and project oversight.
- Prepare 2D/3D perspectives or sketches, design concept sketches, space planning, design development, elevation and detailed drawings for all phases of the process.
Job Requirements
You are passionate, creative, an achiever, highly self-motivated and an independent individual who is detailed oriented, possess strong skills in design concepts, perspective and project management good presentation skills; able to work in a team and independently, possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and ability to perform under tight schedule and pressure.
- Diploma/Degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
- Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience.
- Skill proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D Studio Max, Vector software (Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator), Photoshop, Sketchup or MS Office.
- Good knowledge of drawing preparation & organization; familiar with furniture/fabrics/lighting elements, construction materials, details methods & standards.
- Experience in commercial and residential design work projects will be an advantage.
- Able to converse with English and Chinese speaking clients, contractors and vendors to complete projects effectively.
- Local working experience needed.
