Interior Designer
Summary
The Interior Designer will develop design layouts, 3D models, and project specifications while coordinating with vendors and supporting construction administration. The role requires proficiency in CAD and design software like Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Job Title: Interior Designer
Job Location: New York, NY; may work from home up to two days per week.
Duties:
Execute and develop accurate design layouts, 3D models, and detailed specifications for various projects; conduct research on project-specific requirements to support design accuracy and compliance; contribute to the generation of design concepts, including space planning, furniture and equipment layouts, and assessments of existing site conditions; prepare and develop detailed project drawings such as floor plans, customer furniture designs, elevations, lighting layouts, and finish specifications using CAD software; source FF&E and materials aligned with the project’s creative vision and design intent; prepare client presentations that reflect both the company’s aesthetic and the client’s needs; coordinate with vendors to collect samples, obtain quotes, and confirm product availability and lead times; support the management of multiple projects, maintaining deadlines, and fostering strong collaboration with team members and leadership; and assist with Construction Administration.
Job Requirements:
Must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, or similar, plus 1 year of experience in an interior designer role for an architectural firm, and 1 year of experience using Revit, AutoCAD, Enscape, Rhino, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign.
May work from home up to two days per week.

Salary Range:
$51,022 to $105,000 per year.
