Interior Designer
Oneida Professional Services (OPS) is actively seeking a highly motivated, full-time Interior Designer in Washington D.C.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assists in the review and oversight of facilities projects designed to maintain, modernize and/or renovate existing facilities as well as construction of new facility projects and infrastructure.
- Develops design strategies for new construction projects and renovation of existing building interiors.
- Provides architectural and space planning solutions that include preparation of architectural drawings.
- Performs review of design intent drawings.
- Assists with managing facility projects that include building maintenance, operations, repair, and sustainment.
- Coordinates project schedules, resources, equipment, and information.
- Maintains project costs, tasks, milestones, and deadlines.
- Completes weekly and monthly internal and external reporting.
- Performs quality control and assurance inspections and surveys.
- Develop project briefings and presentations.
- Provides project team coordination for finished plans, specifications, and material selection required for construction.
- Develops AutoCAD construction drawings and performs support functions as directed to meet the budget, schedule, and project design goals.
- Collaborates with project team members to ensure compliance with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and safety, and Agency requirements.
- Gathers project requirements; develops statement of work, build estimates, develops schedules, and executes projects.
- Develops project briefings and presentations for senior management.
- Maintains and organizes project files, invoices, estimates, and vendor information.
- Investigates and resolves facility construction and renovation issues
- Captures action items for project management teams, capture meeting minutes and disseminate to appropriate stakeholders.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
