Interior Designer (with Marketing Support)

*Design & Client Management*

- Attend client meetings to understand their needs, budget, and design preferences

- Develop and present interior design concepts, mood boards, and space planning layouts

- Read and interpret construction/architectural drawings accurately to translate them into actionable design plans

- Produce detailed design drawings, floor plans, and 3D renderings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and related software

- Prepare and present quotations, material/finishes selections, and realistic project timelines to clients

- Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the renovation journey, managing expectations and resolving concerns promptly

*Project & Site Management*

- Coordinate and manage sub-contractors (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, tiling, painting, etc.) to ensure work is completed to specification and on schedule

- Conduct regular site visits to supervise progress, perform quality checks, and troubleshoot construction issues on the ground

- Ensure onsite works comply with approved drawings, HDB/BCA/URA regulations (where applicable), and safety standards

- Manage project documentation — variation orders, progress reports, and handover checklists

- Handle full project cycle for mainly residential projects, from initial concept through to handover

*Marketing Support*

- Shoot and edit short-form videos (site progress, before/after reveals, design tips) for social media

- Create engaging posts and content for Instagram/Facebook/TikTok showcasing completed and ongoing projects

- Work with the team to plan content that reflects M2D's brand and design style

- Assist in capturing high-quality photos of completed projects for the portfolio

### Requirements

- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in interior design, renovation, or a related field

- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction/architectural drawings

- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp; familiarity with Photoshop, CorelDraw, or similar visualization tools is a plus

- Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and sequencing of renovation works

- Prior experience handling sub-contractors and onsite coordination is essential

- Comfortable with frequent site visits and hands-on problem-solving in a construction environment

- Interest or basic skills in videography/photography and video editing (CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar) — a strong plus

- Confident, personable, and able to build trust with clients face-to-face

- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple projects at different stages simultaneously

- Class 3 driving license — a plus (for site visits)

- Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field preferred
