INTERIOR FIT-OUT DRAFTSMAN

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Interior Fit-Out Draftsman with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in interior design and fit-out projects. The ideal candidate must be proficient in preparing detailed technical drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings in accordance with approved designs, project specifications, and site requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed interior fit-out shop drawings, construction drawings, and as-built drawings.
- Develop plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings for walls, partitions, ceilings, flooring, and other interior finishing works.
- Prepare joinery and custom furniture drawings, including wardrobes, cabinets, wall panels, reception counters, and other bespoke elements.
- Coordinate with interior designers, project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to ensure drawing accuracy.
- Review architectural and interior design drawings and identify discrepancies before execution.
- Incorporate consultant comments, client revisions, and site measurements into drawings.
- Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, approved materials, and relevant dimensions.
- Assist the site team with technical details and drawing clarifications during project execution.
- Maintain proper drawing records and revision control.
- Prepare drawings within project deadlines and coordinate submissions for consultant or client approval.
Skills
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Draftsman in interior fit-out or interior design projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) is essential.
- Knowledge of interior fit-out construction details, materials, and finishing methods.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, interior design layouts, and technical specifications.
- Experience preparing shop drawings, joinery details, reflected ceiling plans, and as-built drawings.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Previous experience in UAE interior fit-out projects is an advantage.
