Interior Fit-Out Site Engineer

Job Responsibilities

1. Supervise and coordinate daily interior fit-out works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project schedules.

2. Monitor site progress, manpower allocation, material deliveries and subcontractor performance to ensure timely completion.

3. Coordinate with architectural, structural, M&E, fire protection and other trades to resolve site interface and installation issues.

4. Review construction drawings, identify discrepancies and provide technical support to resolve site-related issues.

5. Conduct regular site inspections, monitor workmanship quality and ensure compliance with project requirements.

6. Coordinate material inspections, mock-up approvals, quality inspections and handover activities.

7. Identify construction defects, coordinate rectification works and ensure timely closure of outstanding issues.

8. Attend site coordination meetings, prepare progress updates and report potential delays or technical concerns to management.

9. Support project completion, final inspections, defect rectification and handover to clients.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architectural Engineering, Building or related disciplines.

2. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in interior fit-out construction and site management.

3. Experience in high-end residential and five-star hotel interior fit-out projects is required.

4. Experience working with a main contractor in Singapore or Southeast Asia is an advantage.

5. Good knowledge of interior fit-out materials, construction methods, workmanship standards and quality control.

6. Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Project or other relevant construction software.

7. Strong site coordination, problem-solving and subcontractor management skills.

8. Communicate effectively with multicultural project teams.

9. Able to work independently and manage multiple site activities in a fast-paced construction environment.
