Intermediate Developer/ Tech Support Specialist

Intermediate Developer / Tech Support Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Intermediate Developer / Tech Support Specialist to join our team at Caci Support Office, with remote work as needed. This role sits at the centre of IT delivery, splitting time between developing and maintaining systems and providing hands-on technical support for queries the front-line team can't resolve. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, a proactive "can-do" attitude, exceptional communication, excellent time management, and the discretion to work with sensitive data and business-critical infrastructure.

What you'll be doing

  • Designing, building, testing, and maintaining software solutions and integrations that support Fab Group and the Caci clinic network

  • Diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues across applications, integrations, and platforms, with strong root-cause analysis

  • Actively working and resolving IS-related helpdesk tickets, providing hands-on support for systems, devices, access, and IT infrastructure

  • Progressing, owning, and closing escalated tickets that require development or technical expertise, in partnership with the Centre of Excellence

  • Contributing to and maintaining a current register of IT systems, software licences, and subscriptions across Fab Group and Caci clinics

  • Supporting disaster recovery and business continuity planning, and helping maintain IT security policies and audit readiness

  • Supporting relationships with IT vendors and service providers, and maintaining clear records of agreements and SLAs

What we're looking for

  • 3–5+ years' experience in software development in a company, with strong general development and technical troubleshooting skills

  • Experience with large data sets and SQL/PostgreSQL

  • Proficiency in relevant programming languages and frameworks (Python, JavaScript, and API/REST experience preferred)

  • Exceptional Communication skills

  • Working knowledge of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure, and proficiency in the Microsoft toolset (Microsoft 365, Azure, Power Automate)

  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles, data protection, and compliance standards as they apply to software development

  • Experience with version control, code review processes, and collaborative development workflows

  • A trustworthy, well-organised communicator who works effectively both independently and as part of a team

Apply now and join a great team! Enjoy a supportive team environment, plus access to fantastic staff perks and discounts.
