Intermediate Microsoft Back-End and Front-end Developer
The Intermediate Microsoft Back‑End and Front‑End Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure enterprise applications using Microsoft technologies. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality full‑stack solutions that meet business requirements, adhere to development standards, and perform reliably in production environments.
Key Responsibilities
Application Development
- Design, develop, test, and maintain back‑end services using Microsoft technologies
- Build and enhance front‑end user interfaces with a strong focus on usability, accessibility, and performance
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate applications with internal and external systems
- Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with architectural standards
Quality & Best Practices
- Write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code
- Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure application reliability
- Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to improving development standards
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve defects and performance issues
- Work closely with business analysts, product owners, testers, and DevOps teams
- Contribute to Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand‑ups, reviews, and retrospectives
- Provide technical input during solution design and estimation activities
- Support deployment activities and post‑deployment application support when required
Security & Compliance
- Apply secure coding practices and follow internal security standards
- Implement authentication, authorization, and data protection mechanisms
- Ensure compliance with enterprise governance and risk frameworks
Technical Requirements
Back‑End Development
- C#
- .NET / .NET Core / ASP.NET Core
- Entity Framework and/or Dapper
- SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, performance tuning)
- Dependency Injection and SOLID principles
Front‑End Development
- HTML5, CSS3
- Angular and/or React
- API integration
Cloud & DevOps (Advantageous)
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, Storage, Key Vault)
- CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or similar tools)
- Git-based version control Ways of Working
- Experience with enterprise-scale applications
Experience & Qualifications
- 3–6 years of professional software development experience
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Microsoft certifications are advantageous but not mandatory
