Intermediate Software Developer – R&D
The division is seeking an Intermediate Software Developer to be a member of our R&D team and contribute to the development of ERP solutions for student accommodation, conference, and event management. The chosen individual will work out of the Contour Software Karachi resource center office as an extension of the Kinetic division R&D department.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent technical degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience in software development.
- Strong understanding of software development principles, programming concepts, and best practices.
- Strong expertise in database design, SQL development, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Solid knowledge of front‑end technologies including HTML, XML, JSON, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
- Proven experience developing web applications using the .NET Framework and ASP.NET Web Forms.
- Hands‑on experience designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs and integrating third‑party services.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly present ideas and technical solutions.
- Experience working in Agile environments, actively participating in sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and team discussions.
- Positive attitude, high energy, and a proactive "can‑do" mindset.
