Intermediate Software Engineer - Fullstack

Summary

Full-stack engineer building and maintaining web applications, APIs, and microservices using React, Next.js, Node.js, and Python, with cloud deployment on AWS or GCP.

You design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain front-end and back-end web application components. You deliver medium-to-large features, build APIs and microservices, optimize performance, contribute to CI/CD automation, troubleshoot production issues, collaborate across functions, and support junior engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain front-end and back-end components
  • Deliver medium-to-large features
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and integrations
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
  • Optimize application performance
  • Deploy and maintain applications on cloud platforms
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation
  • Apply security, reliability, and performance best practices
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable fixes
  • Participate in code reviews
  • Support and mentor junior engineers
  • Contribute to technical documentation

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in full-stack software development
  • Proficiency in React, Next.js, Node.js, and Python
  • Familiarity with Go
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and third-party integrations
  • Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL and familiarity with MongoDB
  • Experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
  • Understanding of software design, application security, and performance optimization
  • Experience using Git and modern version control workflows
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
