If you are tired of corporate tape, endless meetings, and waiting two weeks for a Business Analyst to hand you a perfectly manicured ticket before you can write a line of code - keep reading.

At Little Hinges, we are transforming the property market by turning physical spaces into actionable digital intelligence. We don't just build world-class virtual tour platforms; we process massive amounts of property data from capture sources to build automated data pipelines and industry first property valuation models with millions of unique inspections every month.

We are a fast-paced scale-up on a mission and our roadmap is packed with incredibly cool, complex problems to solve, and we prioritise momentum and capability over hierarchy and lengthy processes.

We're now on the hunt for a Intermediate Full Stack Developer

We have a new project infront of us, and it's an exciting one! A platform that needs to talk to a lot of systems: property and real estate software, government and data partners, payments, our own capture apps and AI models. We’re looking for a developer who wants to own features from start to finish.

What you’ll do

  • Build features on our new platform end to end, from scoping and design through to testing, release and support.

  • Design and scale a new database, data models and relationships

  • Design, build and maintain integrations with third-party APIs and partner systems, making them reliable, secure and well documented.

  • Work with internal teams and external partners to understand what they need, clarify requirements and keep delivery moving.

  • Scope your own work: understand the commercial “why”, identify edge cases, write the tickets, execute.

  • Work closely with our Senior Engineer, Head of R&D, CEO and the wider tech team on technical direction and priorities.

  • Actively use AI coding tools and agents in your day-to-day work, and help evolve how we use them as a team: shaping workflows, context and guardrails so we ship faster without sacrificing quality.

  • Fix bugs, improve performance and build internal tools that make the business run smoother.

Who you are

  • A self-starter who owns the outcome, not just the ticket.

  • Comfortable working with stakeholders. You can talk through requirements with a non-technical person, push back when needed and keep everyone updated.

  • Calm in ambiguity. When requirements aren’t fully defined, you ask the right questions and make sensible trade-offs.

  • Organised and communicative, with good habits around documentation and keeping work visible.

  • AI-curious and hands-on. You’re always experimenting with new tools and approaches, and you share what works so the whole team gets better.

  • Keen to grow. You’ve got solid foundations and want to keep stretching into bigger, more complex problems.

Experience required

  • 2 to 4+ years of commercial full stack experience with TypeScript, Node.js (NestJS ideally) and React/Next.js.

  • Experience building and consuming REST APIs, and integrating with third-party services (auth, webhooks, rate limits, error handling).

  • Relational Database Modelling and Implementation

  • Working knowledge of relational databases and an ORM such as Prisma.

  • Experience shipping features to production and supporting them after launch.

  • Regular use of AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot or similar) in real projects, with a habit of reviewing and verifying generated code.

  • Clean Git practice: structured changes for review, comfortable rebasing and resolving conflicts.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD and automated testing.

Nice to have

  • Experience on a greenfield or rebuilt platform.

  • AWS, Docker and infrastructure as code (Terraform).

  • Observability tooling (Datadog, PostHog, Sentry or similar).

  • Exposure to proptech, real estate or data-heavy products.

  • Previous startup or scale-up experience.
