Job Role: AI Product Owner / Business Analyst Intern – AI Products & Digital Solutions
Job Location: Bengaluru
Position Summary
The Product Owner / Business Analyst Intern will support the design, development, and adoption of AI-enabled digital products that deliver measurable business value. Working closely with Product Owners, Engineers, Data Scientists, UX Designers, and business stakeholders, the intern will help translate business needs into product features, analyze user behavior, define requirements, and support the delivery of intelligent solutions powered by analytics, Generative AI, machine learning, and automation. This role is ideal for candidates interested in Product Management, Business Analysis, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Transformation, Data & Analytics, or Technology Consulting careers.
Key Responsibilities – Product Management Support
Assist Product Owners in defining and documenting product requirements.
Participate in product discovery activities to understand business challenges and user needs.
Support creation and maintenance of product backlogs in Agile tools such as Jira.
Help prioritize enhancement requests based on business value and user impact.
Contribute to product roadmap discussions and feature planning.
Key Responsibilities – Business Analysis
Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.
Create process maps, user journeys, business workflows, and requirement specifications.
Translate business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
Identify opportunities to improve business processes and user experiences.
Perform impact assessments for proposed product enhancements.
AI Product Development & Innovation
Support the discovery, design, and enhancement of AI-enabled products and experiences.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and data science teams to evaluate AI use cases and business opportunities.
Assist in defining AI product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Help evaluate AI-generated outputs and recommend improvements based on user feedback and business objectives.
Conduct research on emerging AI technologies, industry trends, and competitive solutions.
Participate in experimentation, proof-of-concepts, and pilot initiatives involving Generative AI and intelligent automation.
Support measurement of AI product adoption, user engagement, accuracy, and business impact.
Contribute to responsible AI practices, including fairness, transparency, governance, and user trust considerations.
Data & Insights
Analyze product usage, adoption, and operational metrics.
Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate insights.
Support data-driven decision making through research and analysis.
Conduct competitive benchmarking and industry research.
Agile Delivery Support
Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives, and Standups.
Work with development teams to clarify requirements and validate delivered functionality.
Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning and execution.
Track defects, issues, and enhancement requests.
Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with business stakeholders across functions.
Support workshops and requirement gathering meetings.
Prepare presentations and executive-ready summaries.
Facilitate communication between business and technical teams.
Required Qualifications
Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline.
Strong academic performance.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated interest in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or Product Management.
Experience using Generative AI platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar technologies.
Familiarity with prompt engineering concepts and AI-assisted workflows.
Exposure to data analytics, visualization, and storytelling.
Understanding of Agile methodologies and product development lifecycle.
Experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, Figma, or Miro.
