Now we need to add an Intern Architect to help us keep building.
Working with our Architecture team, you will contribute to a variety of project types, including higher education, healthcare, municipal, commercial, and retail facilities. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals while gaining hands-on experience throughout the design and documentation process.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with architects, designers, engineers, and other project team members.
- Assist with architectural design development from initial concepts through construction documentation.
- Prepare building concepts, presentation materials, design documents, and construction documents.
- Create and modify project models and drawings using Revit and other architectural design software.
- Conduct material and product research to support project development.
- Coordinate architectural documents with civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering disciplines.
- Participate in project meetings, design reviews, and site visits as needed.
- Support the preparation of accurate, coordinated, and high-quality project deliverables.
- Assist with other project and team responsibilities as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture degree from an accredited university.
- Relevant architectural internship or co-op experience.
- Experience developing architectural projects using Revit and SketchUp.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and similar design and graphics programs.
- Interest in working toward architectural registration.
- Strong design, visualization, and presentation skills.
- Excellent graphic, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and adaptable.
- Ability to work effectively with others in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment.
