Intern, Design Office, SQME & Projects Engineering (Winter 2027)

What are your contributions to the team?

• Support the Global 5500, 6500, and 8000 Final Assembly Lines by assisting with engineering activities and contributing to the timely resolution of production-related issues.
• Assist with Change Management activities, including tracking changes, supporting governance processes, and following up on action items to ensure timely closure.
• Contribute to the Bombardier Operational Excellence System by tracking Problem Solving and Process Improvement initiatives, developing tools and applications, and preparing and presenting Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports.
• Support the Final Line document release process by maintaining databases and coordinating the follow-up of outstanding actions.
• Assist with the investigation, tracking, and governance of Engineering Technical Issues.
• Support the management and governance of Engineering Deliverables by maintaining databases and monitoring action item completion.
• Facilitate meetings by preparing presentation materials, capturing meeting minutes, and ensuring timely distribution of documentation.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional teams and various departments across Bombardier.

How to thrive in this role?

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and having successfully completed at least two years of study.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced engineering environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with CAD tools is an asset.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Python, and Microsoft Project is considered an asset.
• Previous work experience and/or completion of an engineering internship is considered an asset
