GenAI Developer Intern
Job Profile
We are seeking a curious and innovative GenAI Developer intern to join our team. In this role, you will work on cutting-edge generative AI solutions, including large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and AI-powered applications. You’ll collaborate with engineers and data scientists to design, build, and deploy intelligent systems that solve real-world problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in building and integrating applications using generative AI models (e.g., LLMs)
- Design, test, and refine prompts to improve AI outputs and reliability
- Develop agents, backend services or APIs that connect AI models to applications
- Work with structured and unstructured data for training, fine-tuning, or retrieval (RAG systems)
- Evaluate model performance and help implement improvements (accuracy, latency, cost)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, data, UX)
- Document experiments, workflows, and technical implementations
- Stay current with advancements in generative AI and machine learning
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled or graduated in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related program
- Good programming skills in Python (preferred) , JavaScript or other programming languages.
- Good understanding of APIs and software development fundamentals
- Familiarity with machine learning or NLP concepts
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Good communication and collaboration abilities
- Interest in generative AI technologies and their applications
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience with LLM frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex)
- Knowledge of prompt engineering techniques and evaluation methods
- Familiarity with vector databases and embeddings (MongoDB is preferred)
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture
- Understanding of ethical AI, bias, and responsible AI practices
