Hourly Rate: $20

JOB SUMMARY:

Aperture LLC is currently interviewing for a Financial Analyst Intern for our Waukesha, Wisconsin office and Woodlands, Texas office. As a Financial Analyst Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in forensic consulting services, focusing on litigation support, forensic accounting, and valuation. You will learn how to assess damages in commercial litigation, intellectual property disputes, and fraud investigations. This role offers a unique opportunity to understand the intricacies of financial analysis within a forensic context while contributing to impactful projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

  • Performing economic/financial/accounting analyses
  • Developing schedules
  • Document and workpaper management
  • Performing independent research
  • Reviewing and monitoring financial documents for accuracy and completeness

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Accounting or Finance major
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • In at least your Sophomore year, having completed some accounting or finance classes
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Significant attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Some understanding of financial statements including the ability to analyze a P&L, Balance sheet, and Cash flow statement

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • The ability to sit at a desk up to 80% of the time
  • The ability to stand and walk up to 20% of the time
  • The ability to be confined in a small area, such as a cubicle
  • The ability to operate phones and computers
  • The ability to work in front of a computer for the majority of the day
  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds
