Intern, Human Resource (6-Months)
Role Overview
Are you a final-year student looking to kickstart your career in Human Resources? We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented HR Intern to join our team in Singapore for a 6-month immersive internship.
This isn't a coffee-fetching role. You will gain hands-on, end-to-end exposure to real-world HR operations, talent acquisition, and regional compliance. This role is ideally suited for graduating students who are looking for a robust foundation in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition Support
- Assist with end-to-end recruitment pipelines, including posting job advertisements, screening resumes, and coordinating interview schedules across local teams.
- Act as the primary point of contact for candidates, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
HR Operations & Onboarding
- Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing employment contracts, verifying background checks, and setting up first-day schedules.
- Maintain accurate digital employee records and ensure HR database compliance with local data protection policies.
- Assist in the offboarding process and documentation for exiting staff.
Statutory Compliance & Benefits Administration
- Learn and assist with local statutory processes, including Ministry of Manpower (MOM) work pass applications/renewals (EP, S Pass, WP).
- Assist with the administration of employee benefits, leave tracking, and claims verification.
Special Projects & Engagement
- Assist in ad-hoc regional HR projects, such as reviewing internal policies, process optimization or participate in HR system enhancement projects.
Requirements
- Education: Final-year student pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related discipline, graduating in 2026/2027. (Open to any discipline if you possess a strong analytical mind and a passion for people and technology).
- Commitment: Able to commit to a full-time, 6-month internship.
- Knowledge: A keen interest in local employment frameworks; formal coursework or basic exposure to Singapore's Employment Act and MOM guidelines is highly advantageous.
- Skills & Mindset:
- An eye for process improvement: You don't just follow steps; you naturally look for faster, smarter ways to get things done.
- Detail-oriented and methodical
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially Excel) and a quick adaptability to new digital platforms/HRIS systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Attributes:
