Job Responsibilities
- Assisting in sample analysis and preparation of operation breakdowns.
- Supporting motion analysis and assigning Standard Minute Values (SMVs) using the GSD system.
- Helping prepare machine layouts to ensure accurate allocation of machines and manpower for optimal efficiency.
- Assisting in the preparation of costing sheets and providing costing options to support competitive pricing and product innovation.
- Supporting pilot runs for new styles, including preparing machine layouts, feeding plans, and Standard Work Sheets (STWs).
- Applying basic work study techniques to help improve efficiency and productivity while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
- Assisting in operating the Quick Change Over (QCO) process to enhance productivity.
- Providing preliminary fabric consumption details for ordering purposes.
- Assisting in reviewing key reports and coordinating with relevant personnel, including:
• Daily Efficiency Reports
• Hourly Production Files
• Machine Requirement Reports - Carrying out any other tasks assigned by the management in line with the role.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Physical Science or Degree/National Diploma in Technology or any other equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with a willingness to learn and adapt.
