An internship with WSA's Global Information Security team in Singapore, supporting governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) work: ISO 27001-aligned security control assessments, audit evidence and readiness, compliance reporting, and remediation tracking, ideal for students in cybersecurity, IT, or risk management.

As a motivated Information Security Risk & Compliance Intern, you will be joining our Global Information Security team. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cybersecurity governance, risk management, compliance, and security controls while supporting governance, compliance, risk, and assurance company activities. Ideally, this role is suitable for you if you are a student interested in cybersecurity, information security, GRC, audit, and IT controls.
What you will do
Support security control assessments, reviews, and effectiveness evaluations aligned with ISO 27001 and other applicable frameworks
Review, validate, and organize compliance and audit evidence to support internal and external audits
Support GRC operations, including monitoring requests, maintaining records, and tracking remediation activities in the GRC platform
Assist with audit readiness, compliance reporting, dashboards, management presentations, and documentation updates
Coordinate with stakeholders on assessments, findings, and corrective actions, and support ad hoc Security Risk & Compliance initiatives.
What you bring
Undergraduate in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Risk Management, IT Audit, Business Information Systems, or related fields
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Interest in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Risk Management, Audit, or Compliance
Strong analytical, attention-to-detail, multi-tasking and collaboration skills
Effective communication and documentation abilities
Professional, adaptable, and eager to learn.
