Job Summary**

Genting Malaysia Berhad is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated IT Software Development Intern to support our development teams in creating, maintaining, and enhancing software solutions. This internship offers hands-on experience in a dynamic corporate environment, contributing to real-world projects.

Job Responsibilities**

* Assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of software applications using various programming languages and frameworks.
* Collaborate with senior developers and project managers to understand project requirements and contribute to technical solutions.
* Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting software defects.
* Document technical specifications, user manuals, and other project-related materials.
* Learn and apply best practices in software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing software systems and processes.
* Conduct research on new technologies and tools to enhance development capabilities.

Job Qualifications**

* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
* Basic understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
* Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript).
* Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL) is a plus.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proactive and eager to learn new technologies.
