As an Intern for Maintenance, you will support the maintenance team in ensuring the smooth operation of machinery, equipment, and facility systems. The role provides hands-on exposure to preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, data analysis, and maintenance planning while contributing to operational efficiency and workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance activities for machinery and equipment.
- Support maintenance planning, scheduling, and documentation processes.
- Monitor equipment performance and help maintain maintenance records and logs.
- Assist in identifying and reporting equipment faults and breakdowns.
- Support inventory tracking of maintenance tools, spare parts, and consumables.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports.
- Assist in implementing workplace safety, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Undergraduate or recent graduate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn maintenance operations and best practices.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
