Summary
This full-time position is part of GCB's Summer Internship Program, which is scheduled to run from Monday, May 17th through Friday, July 23rd, potentially extending through mid-August based on the decision of the hiring manager and department. Additionally, interns must participate in a Final Internship Presentation located in New Orleans on Thursday, July 22nd. Candidates must be available for the full duration of the program to ensure a consistent and meaningful learning experience.
The Intern - Mortgage will work closely with mortgage loan originators within the department and requisite outside parties to ensure timely loan closing for the bank’s mortgage customers.
Responsibilities
- Participate in secondary marketing meetings with mortgage investors, aggregators, Mortgage Insurance companies, vendors, etc.
- Work with Digital Marketing team to develop content.
- Attend local Mortgage and Realtor functions.
- Work with Retail and other departments to get a full understanding of the bank.
- Adhere to established quality and service standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
