Responsibilities

• Assist in implementation of RTX Environment, Safety, and Health (EH&S) procedures.
• Involve in continuous improvement by getting involve in daily operation processes example Engine Testing and post test activity in accordance with the current technical data.
• Expose to technical data example engine manual, Airworthiness, Services Bulletins, service letters, Airworthiness Directives, government and industry standard practices, and other data acceptable to or approved by the CAAS and other aviation authorities.
• Assist Operation Leader and Assistance Foreman the following projects.
• Reduce backlog across all cells.
• Shopfloor re-layout.
• Inspection quality improvement project.
• Introduction of Cobot.(Imaging technology).
• Time study on current Standard work process and improvement project.
• Total Preventative Maintenance – improvement project.
• Carry out Risk Assessment and close all findings if any.
• Learn QCPC 5 steps process. Revisit current QCPC process.
• Introduce mini project to track and close action items. Streamlining, Digitalization and automation of production related Workflows, such as production metrics collation and visualization / dashboard.
• Assist Engineering Supervisor on the following.
• Total Preventative Maintenance – improvement project.
• Manhours reduction project.
• Actively support and participate in CORE, DIVE, EHS and Continuous Improvement projects and initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering / Aviation.
• Proficient in MS Office (Access, Excel, Word, Power BI)
• Open-minded and motivated to learn.

Learning Outcome

• Appreciate engine test parameters, process workflow and operation KIP.
• Gaining of advance manufacturing facility knowledge.
• Continuous Improve tools using CORE (Customer Oriented Results & Excellence)
• Student involved in this process will also gain the workings of an MRO plant.
• Work cooperatively and communicate effectively with members of multidisciplinary teams and other stakeholder groups.
