Specialising in building, civil engineering, and infrastructure projects, we deliver innovative and efficient solutions to meet the evolving needs of the industry. Key Roles and Responsibilities<ul><li>Gain a strong understanding of SCAE’s internal design workflows and procedures.</li><li>Apply relevant codes of practice and regulatory requirements in day‑to‑day design tasks.</li><li>Utilize structural design software such as TEDDS, PROKON, and in‑house Excel tools for 2D calculations.</li><li>Develop foundational knowledge of 3D FEM software platforms including ETABS, Tekla Structural Designer, and IDEA StatiCa.</li><li>Collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and multidisciplinary consultants throughout project phases.</li><li>Prepare and deliver design presentations to communicate concepts, schematics, alternative solutions, and value‑engineering options.</li><li>Conduct research, feasibility studies, and prepare engineering reports for submission to authorities, clients, or internal stakeholders.</li><li>Support construction documentation through drafting, handling and assisting professionals to seal technical drawings and documents.</li><li>Participate in construction administration activities, including authority submissions, permitting processes, and design change coordination.</li></ul> Qualifications, Skills & Experience<ul><li>Background in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or equivalent.\</li><li>Must complete core modules (reinforced concrete, structural steel & geotechnical)</li><li>Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to conduct research and perform feasibility assessments.</li><li>Effective communication skills for coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and preparing reports or presentations.</li><li>Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate design documentation.</li><li>Good time management with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.</li><li>Due to the sensitive nature of the project, only Singaporean candidates will be considered</li></ul> Our Culture at SembcorpAt Sembcorp, our culture is shaped by a strong set of shared behaviours that guide the way we work and uphold our commitment to driving the energy transition.
