EquipmentShare is searching for interns for our corporate office in Columbia, MO, to support our team in the summer of 2027.
Primary Responsibilities
Work closely with the assigned team to create or establish processes and work on specific projects. Collaborate with experienced software engineers to design, develop, test, and deploy new features and enhancements for our [frontend/backend/mobile/full-stack] applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in specific languages, e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, Go, etc.
- Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to improve code quality.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Learn and apply software engineering best practices, including version control (Git), agile methodologies, and testing frameworks.
- Contribute to the improvement of existing systems and processes.
- Attend team meetings, stand-ups, and brainstorming sessions.
- Document technical designs, processes, and code.
- Present your work and learnings to the team and potentially leadership at the end of your internship.

Skills & Qualifications
- Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree at a US accredited college or university.
- Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience writing and editing documentation.
- Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with using Microsoft Office products (Word) & G-Suite (Google Docs).
- Must possess a professional yet enthusiastic and friendly demeanor.
- Demonstrates a set of core values that includes integrity, drive, humility, and intelligence.
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to change in a positive manner.
