Intern, Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing
Summary
This internship role involves supporting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across network, web, mobile, and cloud environments. The intern will assist in developing security tools, documenting findings, and participating in red team activities.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Support vulnerability assessments and penetration testing engagements across various technologies, including Network, Web, Mobile, Thick Client Applications, Cloud, Kubernetes, and Operations Technology
- Assist in developing internal VAPT and red team capabilities through scripting, automation, and research into common exploitation tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
- Participate in Capture-The-Flag (CTF) events, both internally and externally, to build practical offensive security skills.
- Document findings clearly and assist in the preparation of assessment reports.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles (e.g. networking fundamentals, web development, common vulnerability classes) and familiarity with frameworks such as OWASP Top 10 and MITRE ATT&CK.
- Some exposure to programming/scripting languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, or .NET (through coursework, personal projects, or CTFs).
- Genuine interest in offensive security, demonstrated through personal projects, CTF participation, bug bounty attempts, or coursework.
- Good communication skills and a willingness to learn from and work closely with senior team members.
Preferred Qualifications/Skills
- Prior internship or project experience in a security-related role is a plus
- Some familiarity with security testing tools such as Nessus, Burp Suite, Frida, or dex2jar.
- Participation in CTF competitions or bug bounty programs
- Offensive Cyber Security Certifications (e.g. OSCP, CRT preferred)
