Job Summary
We are seeking a meticulous and independent Part-Time Internal Accounts Auditor to strengthen our internal financial controls and ensure compliance with company policies. The successful candidate will conduct periodic audits, identify operational and financial risks, recommend process improvements, and help safeguard the company's assets and financial integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular internal audits on financial transactions, procurement, payments, and operational processes.
Review Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), petty cash, bank reconciliations, and expense claims.
Verify supporting documents, invoices, quotations, purchase orders (PO), delivery orders (DO), and payment vouchers.
Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
Identify financial risks, control weaknesses, and process improvement opportunities.
Prepare audit findings, reports, and recommendations for Management.
Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and follow up on audit observations.
Support stock, inventory, and fixed asset verification when required.
Perform ad-hoc audits or investigations assigned by Management.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in internal audit, accounting, finance, or compliance.
Knowledge of Singapore accounting practices and internal control procedures.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, AutoCount, or ERP systems).
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a high level of integrity.
Able to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in retail, eCommerce, procurement, wholesale, manufacturing, or construction industries.
Familiarity with inventory control, procurement processes, and government tender documentation is an advantage.
Experience with ERP systems such as Odoo or SAP is preferred.
