Internal Auditor – Data Analytics (Manager Level)
Summary
Manager-level internal auditor at Krungsri Bank who plans and executes data-driven audits: builds risk control matrices and audit programs, runs fieldwork on business and IT controls, and performs data analytics with SQL, Excel, Python, Tableau/Power BI to surface control weaknesses and report findings.
Responsibilities
Gather and analyze data from various sources to support audit planning.
Identify and assess risks and controls to prepare the Risk Control Matrix (RCM).
Develop the Audit Planning Memorandum (APM) and present audit objectives, scope, and approach.
Create Audit Program Guide (APG) and perform audit fieldwork to evaluate business process and IT controls.
Document audit work clearly and comprehensively.
Perform data analytics using SQL, Excel, Python, and other audit analytic tools.
Identify control weaknesses, non‑compliance issues, and operational inefficiencies.
Prepare issue logs and participate in closing meetings to align on remediation plans.
Present audit findings and prepare audit reports summarizing results and opinions.
Follow up on remediation actions to ensure timely completion.
Provide advisory support to improve control design and business processes.
Support the development of IA team’s data analytics skills and culture.
Perform other assignments as required by the Head of Audit Strategy or Head of Internal Audit.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Management, Mathematics, Computer Science, MIS, or related fields.
5–7 years of total working experience.
Minimum 5 years of data analysis experience in audit, financial, risk management, or technology.
Minimum 3 years of management experience.
Knowledge of Internal Audit Standards (IIA/IPPF).
Strong knowledge of SQL, Excel, Python, Tableau, Power BI, KNIME, and analytics/statistical techniques.
Familiarity with fraud/data analytics tools and techniques.
Understanding of credit card, personal loan, and insurance broker business processes.
Strong analytical, planning, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English presentations and report writing.
Strong teamwork, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
High accountability, self‑motivation, attention to detail, and integrity.
Preferred certifications: CIA, CISA.
Work Location: KSPO Building, BTS Ploenchit, Bangkok
