Internal Control Specialist

The Internal Control Specialist will support the Senior Internal Control Specialist in completing risk assessments across all financial and operational areas of the BMI business globally. This role may require an element of travel, primarily to the UK head office.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments.

• Test internal controls and recommend process improvements.

• Help process owners implement control recommendations.

• Identify opportunities for operational and financial efficiency.

• Draft risk review findings and detailed audit reports.
  

Required qualifications and skills:

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Clear understanding of key risks and controls.

• Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Able to work both independently and effectively as part of a team.

• Detail-oriented with a sharp, critical mindset.

• Ability and willingness to travel (approximately 10% of working time).

The gross monthly salary for this role is between 3,000 and 3,800 EUR gross, with the final offer reflecting your qualifications and experience.

Please note: This is a fixed-term, maternity cover position. The initial contract will be signed for a 12-month period.
