POSITION
Pacific Office Automation is seeking an Internal IT Support Technician to provide technical support to employees across our organization and branch locations. This position will be responsible for supporting computers, applications, user accounts, mobile devices, printers, and other technology used by POA employees.
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working directly with users, and finding solutions to technical problems. This position will also have opportunities to work with endpoint management, security tools, networking, and systems administration while developing a strong understanding of POA's internal technology environment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide responsive technical support to POA employees for Windows workstations, Microsoft 365, printers, peripherals, and connectivity issues.

Troubleshoot and support internal business applications used by POA's sales, service, and administrative teams.

Assist with user account setup, access, permissions, password resets, and multi-factor authentication.

Support company-issued mobile devices and remote access for employees.

Prepare, configure, deploy, refresh, and retire computers and other endpoint devices.

Maintain accurate records of company technology assets, including equipment assignments, locations, and warranty information.

Install, configure, and maintain endpoint management and security software.

Assist with technology deployments and equipment refreshes at POA branch locations.

Troubleshoot internal printers and multifunction devices.

Assist with branch-level network connectivity troubleshooting and escalate issues when necessary.

Assist the Internal Systems Administrator(s) with system maintenance, patching, monitoring, and other IT projects.

Support the technical aspects of employee onboarding and offboarding, including equipment and system access.

Maintain accurate documentation of internal systems, procedures, and configurations.

Create and maintain internal knowledge base articles and user guides.

Provide excellent customer service and communicate technical information clearly to employees with varying levels of technical knowledge.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
-
2+ years of experience in an IT support or help desk role.

Strong knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365.

Working knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID, and endpoint management.

Experience troubleshooting and deploying computers and other hardware.

Basic understanding of networking and connectivity troubleshooting.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to provide professional, in-person support to employees.

Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record for occasional travel between branch locations.
Preferred
-
CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification.
-
Microsoft certification at the fundamentals level or above.

Experience with Microsoft Intune or similar endpoint management platforms.

Experience supporting printers and multifunction devices.

Previous corporate or internal IT support experience.
COMPENSATION
$20.00 - $24.50 per hour
Actual compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, certifications, and other applicable factors.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Primarily office-based computer work with occasional travel to POA branch locations.

Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.

Occasional bending, kneeling, and work in server or network closets.

Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required for occasional site travel.
