ADMINISTRATIVE ANALYST I

Compensation: $41.70 - $50.69 per hour

The City of Ojai is pleased to announce a new opportunity within the City Manager's Office for the position of Administrative Analyst I focused on Human Resources operations. This role will support recruitment, employee benefits, personnel records, and workplace communications. Prior HR experience is not required - we are seeking a motivated internal employee with strong problem-solving skills, discrete judgment, and a desire to learn.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Recruitment & Onboarding: Help coordinate job postings, application screening, and interview panels.
• Employee Services: Answer employee questions on benefits, City policies, and procedures.
• Records & Compliance: Maintain confidential personnel files, assist with surveys and studies, and track compliance with relevant labor laws.
• Risk Support: Provide assistance with employee safety updates, injury reporting, and risk management tracking as needed.
