This is a remote sales opportunity focused on developing strategic relationships with regional custodial and financial services partners.
You will help identify new business opportunities, manage referrals, and support the sales process from initial contact through onboarding.
Working closely with Regional Vice Presidents and sales leadership, you will help maintain a strong and responsive new-business pipeline.
The role combines proactive outreach, relationship management, lead qualification, scheduling, proposal coordination, and follow-up.
You will act as an important connection between external partners, prospective clients, advisors, and internal support teams.
Success requires strong communication, organization, commercial judgment, and the ability to respond quickly while maintaining a high-quality client experience.

Accountabilities:
- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities through outreach to regional custodial and financial services partners.
- Identify and cultivate new regional partner relationships that can contribute to business development opportunities.
- Serve as part of a rapid-response team for incoming custodial referrals, ensuring leads are acknowledged and acted upon promptly.
- Make timely initial contact with referring external partners and gather the information required to advance prospective opportunities.
- Process and manage leads through internal systems, ensuring Regional Vice Presidents and advisors have the information and access needed to follow up.
- Schedule initial client meetings and collect relevant case information to support effective conversations with sales leadership.
- Coordinate pre-introduction communications, scheduling, and information gathering throughout the early stages of the sales cycle.
- Manage post-introduction communications, follow-up activities, and collection of required client and prospect information.
- Support the development and completion of financial plan proposals and related deliverables.
- Coordinate presentations and contribute to a smooth onboarding experience for new clients and partners.
- Partner with regional sales leadership to monitor and oversee the new-business pipeline.
- Coordinate with centralized support teams on sales-related activities and ensure effective communication across functions.
- Communicate the value proposition, services, and capabilities of the organization clearly and accurately to external partners.
- Support the training and coaching of colleagues or other stakeholders when appropriate.
- Take on additional responsibilities and projects as reasonably assigned by department leadership.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of professional experience, training, military experience, or education.
- At least 2 years of relevant professional experience, ideally within financial services, wealth management, investment management, or a related field.
- FINRA Series 7 and 66, or Series 63 and 65, is strongly preferred.
- Basic understanding of Registered Investment Adviser (RIA) models, custodial platforms, investment products, and financial services workflows.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Strong relationship-building and customer-service skills, combined with a proactive approach to business development.
- Ability to organize multiple leads, follow-ups, meetings, and deliverables while maintaining responsiveness and accuracy.
- Ability to train, coach, and support colleagues when needed.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications and Salesforce.
- Familiarity with Workday is preferred.
- Must maintain good compliance standing and adhere to applicable rules, regulations, policies, and professional standards.
- Demonstrated AI literacy, including the ability to use AI tools effectively in daily work, create appropriate prompts, assess AI-generated content for accuracy and relevance, and integrate AI capabilities while maintaining quality standards.
- Comfortable learning new AI applications and understanding their appropriate use cases, limitations, and risks.
- Willingness to continuously develop AI-related skills as technologies, tools, and methodologies evolve.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with sales leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Base salary: $70,000–$85,000 annually, excluding bonuses and benefits.
- Broader salary grade for the position: $67,300–$97,600, with starting compensation determined by experience, qualifications, credentials, market factors, and other relevant considerations.
