About the role
At Gi Group we are recruiting for FARO, a leading company in the lighting sector, an Accounting Administrative Assistant for their offices in Castellbisbal.
We are looking for a person with experience in accounting in an international environment (dealing with foreign suppliers/customers, imports, Intrastat and/or taxes related to international operations), as this is a key requirement for the position.
What you'll do
Recording of economic and financial transactions: delivery notes, invoices, receipts, vouchers and bank statements.
Review, issuance and verification of invoices (customers and suppliers).
Management and monitoring of collections and payments.
Control of supplier invoicing and support with month-end closings.
Management of tax and fiscal obligations: VAT, IRPF, Corporate Tax and Intrastat.
Support with import procedures and associated documentation.
Preparation and maintenance of financial databases.
Reconciliation of accounting books with bank statements.
Administrative support to the department.
Management of collections from key accounts.
What we're looking for
Higher Level Vocational Training in Administration (or similar).
Minimum 2 years of experience in an international administrative-accounting position.
Demonstrable experience in an international environment: operations with foreign customers/suppliers, import/export, Intrastat and/or international invoicing.
Proficiency in Office (especially Excel).
Own vehicle to travel to the workplace.
Will be valued

English (especially for communication and documentation with international contacts).
Previous experience in companies with multinational operations or an international supply chain.
What you'll get
Initial 6-month contract followed by a permanent contract.
Direct hiring by FARO.
30 hours per week working day.
Flexible start time between 8:00 and 8:30 a.m.
Annual gross salary: €22,500.
