International Area Manager - Singapore

Job Summary
The overall purpose of this position is to manage and grow IEEE revenues and our base of IEEE Online subscribers through the sale of our online products. Products include the established IEEE products such as IEL, Enterprise, ASPP, POP, eLearning, eBooks and ISOL. The IAM is also responsible for the sale and launch of new products, both addressing professional development of engineers including CertifAID, Leading Technical Teams, ESD courses and application tools like 5G/6G Test Bed and Dataport .
The role directs the efforts of more than fifteen 'on-the-ground' sales representatives from four independent sales companies representing IEEE in the region. In 2027, the territory to be created will include all corporate accounts in APAC but not including those in 'greater China' except for Taiwan. The corporate accounts located in Taiwan would be included in this territory. In 2027 the renewal base is projected at $13.5 million with a first-year growth expectation of $1.5 million. By year-end 2031, the territory is projected to generate more than $20 million.

Key Responsibilities
- Devise and implement sales and marketing strategies that increase sales to prospect organizations
- Maintain and generate sales revenue for IEEE
- Achieve IEEE goals as they align with APAC sales to the corporate markets
- Manage multiple country specific sales channels across a stable of in-country sales teams employed by independent companies of based in the region to achieve sales objectives; Manage indirect support staff as needed to ensure smooth and efficient customer requested reporting and sales operations
- Responsible for new product launch in the territories including building awareness and constructing customer value messaging
- Expand corporate (large and midsize) market penetration and address the needs of IEEE's largest multi-national clients at their locations within the territory
- Work with IEEE sales, product and marketing management in sales strategy and planning, particularly in the maintenance of a customer relationship database (CRM), in sales prospecting and forecasting, and analysis to ensure on time renewals for major accounts and continued satisfaction of our major clients
- Collaborate with Client services team to ensure continued satisfaction of our major clients
- Submits weekly sales status reports to senior management
- Collaborate with International Sales Specialist to ensure overall team success and to provide assistance to the dealer network in the areas of\:
- Prospecting, targeting, custom offers and value messaging
- Usage statistics and technical requirements & assistance
- Work with AR & Client-side procurement to achieve smooth and on-time renewals
- Attend conferences, industry events and represent IEEE at vendor fairs hosted by our clients.
- Actively engage in sales activities including presentations, customer meetings, dealer strategy sessions and quotation development
