Internship: Electronics Design & Testing for Space Hardware (m/f/d)

Join our ELO team, where we build the controllers for regulation valves, solenoid valves, pumps, pressure control systems, and refuelling control systems that keep deltaVision's fluidic systems running. Working closely with our electronics design engineers, you will:
  • Support testing, documentation, and architectural design activities
  • Perform schematic capture, circuit analysis, and PCB layout for prototype electronics
  • Assemble and solder PCBAs
  • Crimp and assemble test harnesses
  • Troubleshoot and debug your own designs
  • Support inventory and storage management
  • Currently enrolled in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related discipline
  • Motivated, pragmatic, and self-organized
  • Fluent in English; German is a plus
What would make you stand out:
  • Hands-on experience with circuit design, PCB layout, or embedded electronics (coursework or personal projects count)
  • Proficiency with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and multimeters
  • Practical experience with soldering and crimping/wire harness assembly
  • Experience in university rocketry teams or similar
  • Flexible entry date, the sooner the better, with flexible working hours
  • Guided but self-determined problem solving to realize your ideas
  • Deep dive into the domain of commercial spaceflight and mobility
  • Opportunity for an adjacent employment as working student or for thesis
