Internship for PCSB Uni Maintenance Planning & Control - Oil, PETRONAS Carigali Sdn. Bhd. at Miri, Sarawak
Summary
Intern supports oilfield materials management by verifying data, counting inventory, and building dashboards to automate and improve supply-chain processes for PETRONAS operations.
The intern will support the Contract & Material Management (CMM) team in enhancing the efficiency, accuracy and automation of materials management and inventory processes for TS1 and TS9 operations. Apart from that, the intern will work closely with Material Coordinators (MATCOs) and relevant stakeholders to analyze current workflows, identify improvement opportunities, and assist in developing automation solutions, dashboards, and process improvements that enhance inventory visibility, data quality, and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Materials Management Support:
(a) Support material data verification activities.
(b) Participate in inventory count and stock verification exercises
(c) Assist in preparing inventory and materials management reports
2. Process Improvement & Automation:
(a) Support the development of automation tools
(b) Contribute to the creation of dashboards and performance tracking reports
(c) Support data analytics initiatives to improve inventory visibility and decision-making
3. Data Management & Reporting:
(a) Support the tracking of inventory optimization, disposal and reutilization initiatives.
4. Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
(a) Support implementation of digitalization and automation initiatives
