Summary
Intern supports lab testing of membrane contactor rigs and solvent samples to refine and optimize gas separation products for PETRONAS.
1. Laboratory Rig Operation & Product Development Testing
Operate and monitor lab-scale membrane contactor rigs to support product development activities, including testing of membrane fibre modules across different designs and casing materials, to evaluate performance and support refinement and optimisation efforts.
2. Membrane Fibre & Amine Solvent Sample Analysis
Conduct sampling and analysis of membrane fibre and amine solvent samples (e.g. physical/chemical characterisation, degradation checks, and performance-related testing) to support evaluation of membrane integrity and solvent condition during rig runs.
3. Data Recording, Analysis & Reporting
Record, compile, and analyse experimental data from lab runs and sample analyses, and prepare summary reports/findings to support the MBC team's ongoing membrane refinement and optimisation work.
