Summary
Intern supports CCUS (carbon capture, utilization, and storage) technology projects by assisting with R&D coordination, data analysis, pilot testing, and documentation for PETRONAS.
This intern will work closely with CCUS Delivery Technology Manager. The expected scopes are as follows:
Scope of Work
- Support technology development and delivery activities by assisting the Technology Manager in planning, coordinating, and monitoring CCUS R&D projects, including CO₂ capture, contaminant management, and pilot testing initiatives.
- Assist in project coordination and technical documentation by preparing meeting minutes, progress reports, presentations, project schedules, and maintaining project documentation and action trackers.
- Perform technical research and data analysis by conducting literature reviews, benchmarking emerging CCUS technologies, analyzing operational and experimental data, and developing performance dashboards to support technology evaluation.
- Support field testing and technology validation through participation in site visits, pilot testing activities, data collection, performance monitoring, and preparation of technical findings and recommendations.
- Contribute to technology commercialization activities by assisting in the preparation of technology roadmaps, business cases, technology readiness assessments (TRL), risk registers, stakeholder engagement materials, and knowledge management documentation.
