Summary
A 6-month internship at MAHLE in Stuttgart supporting hardware development, validation and simulation for 22kW+ wireless charging: designing PCBs and schematics in Altium Designer, running power electronics simulations in LTspice, and building, testing and debugging hardware prototypes.

Tasks

Assist in PCB design and schematic capture using Altium Designer

Conduct research on innovative power electronics circuit topologies

Perform power electronics simulations using LTspice

Assist with hardware testing, debugging, and fault analysis

Build, assemble, and rework hardware prototypes
Requirements

Unfortunately, we are currently unable to offer purely voluntary internships.

Enrolled in an engineering degree program (Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field).

Basic knowledge of electrical engineering, power electronics, and measurement technology.

Initial experience with PCB design (preferably using Altium Designer) and PCB assembly.

Experience with LTspice simulation.

Ability to work independently, strong initiative, and good communication skills.

Good command of both German and English.
