We are looking for Specialists and Team Members to join us in crafting a wide variety of vehicles from the Mercedes-Maybach GLS SUV to our all-electric electric vehicle, the EQS SUV and EQE SUV. Our Tuscaloosa County site is home to the production of Mercedes’ luxury SUV models, including electric vehicles. Just down the road in Bibb County, MBUSI has launched the production of high-performance lithium-ion batteries. Our two campuses are among the most advanced automotive manufacturing facilities in the world, with over 6 million square feet combined.

Essential Functions\:
- Support in all commercial discussions with suppliers that collaborate with MBUSI
- General support in activities related to purchasing department, including future sourcing projects and cross functional meeting coordination
- Verify data accuracy from suppliers for the processing of claims; Provide appropiate feedback to suppliers
- Analyze supplier claims and help plausibilize costs (under general supervision)
- Organize and support team meetings and communications
- Lead responsibility from purchasing department for managing waste reduction project; Work cross functionally across MBUSI to implement and scale process
Other Regular Daily Tasks\:
- Preparation of reports and presentations for management
- Participate in various negotiations with suppliers
- Support in other purchasing tasks
