Internship - Indirect Procurement/ESG/Digitalization

Our trains are characterized by being sustainable, safe, and high-quality. This versatility allows our trains to cross the Saudi Arabian desert at 300 km/h or travel through countries with extreme temperatures of up to -45º in Kazakhstan.

What you'll do

At Talgo, we are looking for a person to carry out an internship in the Indirect Procurement department, where you will collaborate by performing the following functions:

• Collaborate in the preparation of offers.

• Perform market studies and cost analyses.

• Monitor orders.

• Initiate negotiations with suppliers.

• Provide support to the procurement manager in the supplier qualification process, negotiation preparation, order issuance, monitoring of first deliveries, supplier development, etc.

• Attend negotiation processes.

At Talgo, we are also looking for two people to carry out internships in the Purchasing Office department (ESG/Digitalization/Processes), where you will collaborate by performing the following functions:

• Collaborate in the definition and improvement of processes.

• Monitor the implementation of tools/digital projects/ESG projects.
• Provide support to the purchasing office team.

What we're looking for

• Undergraduate/Master's Engineering student (preferably industrial).
• English: B2.
• Knowledge/interest in digital tools and ESG projects.

Nice to have

• We value high proficiency in EXCEL at the level of pivot tables, charts, macros, etc...
