The Role

Stone Bybee & Associates, PLLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Law Clerk to join our team. This role provides an excellent opportunity for a law student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in estate planning, probate, and trust administration. As a Law Clerk, you will work closely with our attorneys and paralegals, contributing to meaningful client matters while developing your legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.

What You’ll Do

· Conduct legal research on estate planning, probate, and trust administration issues

· Draft memoranda, pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents under attorney supervision

· Assist with reviewing, organizing, and summarizing case files and discovery

· Support attorneys in client meetings, court filings, and administrative tasks

· Observe and participate in probate hearings, mediations, and client consultations as appropriate

· Provide assistance on special projects and initiatives as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

· Prior experience in a law firm, legal clinic, or related professional setting

· Coursework or prior exposure to estate planning, wills & trusts, or probate law

· Familiarity with court filing procedures and legal document formatting

· Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion

· Strong client service orientation and interpersonal skills
